Just saw the note by Acee that Kim leads the Padres in defensive runs saved (DRS) ... and that is with very limited playing time. The guy can pick it!

I love Kim's D as much as anyone ... yes, VERY valuable ... AND ... he needs a lot more Plate Appearances ... and I'd like to see him get those at AAA ... as soon as Tatis returns to play SS, I'd like to see Kim down and Castillo up ... heresy?

No... not if Kim continues to struggle at the plate.  But now he's going to play every day for quite awhile here.  That should help.

Padres are in the #1 Wild Card slot. NL West holds 3 of the top 4 winning percentages in the NL ... thank you Arizona and Colorado.

Still a lot of time for others to get hot and challenge those positions and those four are only one loss apart ...
