France does have options as does Cronenworth and not really sure the benefit of having Cronenworth behind Tatis who will play everyday or be used as an arm just for blowouts / extra innings. Profar fills in for the short spells Tatis may be out and if a longer IL type ... Cronenworth is called up and hopefully is sharp from playing every day.

I think Profar is everyday 2b with Dozier as backup and "Cronenworth" as super utility.

Dude can play every IF position AND pitch.(Tingler mentioned this)

As I mentioned before I have no issue with Garcia but I believe anything he can do Cronenworth can do.....and more.

It's just the ability to send him down that may result in it actually happening.

Thinking out loud Contreras (Cubs) might be the biggest IMPACT .. Figure out OF vould be rather good..and 2B is at least a 3 headed monster.. C I have ?? About Hedges O and Mejias skills behind the plate.. Contreras WAR since 2017 and ability to get on (OBP) makes him elite overall talent and a HIGE upgrade..

Unless he is in the deal for Contreras....and that might be a little premature in giving up on him.

Despite my general disdain for Contreras' attitude, that would make some sense. The Cubs would almost certainly ask for Lament and/or Campy again, though.

Players perspective.

My takeaways:

1. Lawson has impressed a few people.

2. Maybe the Pham - Myers connection is what he needed.

3. Gore work ethic is real.

4. Vosler and Cronenworth are legitimate athletes. Athletes recognize athletes!
