Head is just like Mason House. He didn't play much in showcases but is spring his stock went up quick. He has good speed that is a plus. He has surprise power in a little fame. His has a quick bat but will need to clean up on his swing. He has little track record against quality competition. He did not produce at the World Wood Bat Association World Championship. He is committed to play at Oklahoma

More athletic than House.

With the 3rd round the Padres select CF Hudson Head Churchill HS, San Antonio

I like it, another high upside guy.  I am guessing Barco and Allens commits are just to strong.

Well I guess the Mets are willing to gamble they pick Allen in the 3rd round.

We shall see if he signs, with the uptick in stuff though you would have to assume he has the chance to be a top ten draft pick in a couple years hence very hard to sign in the third.

If the team pick a player in the first three round mostly going to sign them. The Mets  are going to have to sign a lot low sign players rounds 4-10.

As a Gator fan I hope he goes to College.

Barco too....... unless we draft him of course!

I hope they take a flyer on Duke LHP Graeme Stinson. He needs to work on his body but his stuff last year was really good.

With the 4th rd round the Padres select RHP Matt Brash Niagara U

Another video shows him topping out at 93

He stock was not high because he was hurt last year with a shoulder impingement. Then this year he was the  Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Pitcher of the year. Fastball is around 90-95 and tops 96. His slider is a plus but will need to refine it. He does have a feel for a change up but will need to work on it. He  6-foot-1, 170-pound so he can add some weight to his wiry frame. He will likely be a starter at first but, he may be more better as a relief pitcher.
