Per Jeff Sanders (SDUT)LHP Mason Feole ($135K) and Texas prep C Jared Alvarez-Lopez ($160K) round out #Padres 2019 draft class. They sign 32 overall, including their first 15 picks.

Yep ... although pretty sure the Padres will want to both monitor is progress and ensure he stays on the prescribed rehab program. Not sure what that entails in the first 10 month post surgery.
If he had the surgery on Aug 1 and graduation is June 1 ... 10 months ... he could make it to AZ to phase into his final rehab months conveniently and, if lucky, be able to do some throwing before the end of the summer ... then in the Fall instructs. Set him up for a full run in 2021 ... and given his college work ... maybe quickly to A+.
A very good gamble by the Padres for that bonus. Being optimistic, if TJ adds a MPH or two that actually could elevate his stock.
