Very Nice... My uncle was Mayor of Ensenada Lic. Perez Pasuengo .. For Ensenada to have a presence in any form in pro baseball in the USA os pretty cool.. Its not a very big city
If he was a Mayor of the City in the 60s or 70s he definitely knew my grandfather, who was the leader of the proletariat colonies in Ensenada, and fought daily in the name of the poor so they could have a piece of land to build a home back in the day, he founded like 20 neighbourhoods, wich was a big portion of the city at the time, and the best part is that he never took a piece of land for himself or his family, and had 11 children, it was kind of justified and he did not do it.
I apologize, but any chance I have to talk about my grandfather I just take it.
Now back to baseball, I realky hope this young boy makes it, Just because, I dont think there has being an Ensenada born player in MLB.

Quote from JasonE135 on November 15, 2019, 6:08 pmIt seems we have more talent from Mexico than any other team at this time. Especially arms. We seem to find a lot of high octane guys from there. It's about time we started seriously scouting that market. It is right next door.

Bummer that Perez flamed it. He was a dark horse to mature into a Millar if IIRC. Rooting for Salinas and Urias and Munoz and Ornelas. Love to see more Mex love at the BP, energy is awesome.
I know, I think having Adrián helped a lot in getting fans from this side of the border, but then we traded him, but the majority of Baja fans are Dodger fans just because Fernando Valenzuela, 🙁

I know, and I think the mexican talent is right here and along the border, baseball is played a lot in Baja, Sonora, Chihuahua and Nuevo León, also Sinaloa, in some cases is right up there with Soccer

Going off topic again, just asked my dad about your uncle and he says that my grandfather and your uncle were very good friends, according to what my dad says I can find pictures of them together at my grandmother's house, I am gonna try to get a hold of them, and if you want to, I'll send them to you

46. Zayed Salinas, LHP/OF (‘19 Midseason Rank – NR)
Age: 16
2019 Highest Level: N/A (J2 Signee)
2019 Stats: N/A
He is super young but is already hitting 90 MPH. I haven’t seen him pitch yet, but apparently, it’s a smooth delivery. He also has a nice left-handed stroke so we might have a two-way player and those are always fun. ETA: 2025
