Clevinger was guilty in the court of public opinion too. The league investigated and opted not to suspend him. Bauer got the longest suspension the league has given out under the policy. Why the difference? You think Manfred and the league really uhate him that much?

You actually believe Clevinger was as known to the public as Bauer?

You actually believe the difference in profile is the difference between 0 games and 324?

Based on the evidence that has come out, I don’t see how it could be anything but.  I am not even saying he’s a decent guy, I am saying it is now known a woman pre planned these accusations and staged the injuries and somehow he loses his career.  That’s not right.

Evidence regarding 1 of 4 accusers. I think her story is highly questionable. Does that automatically invalidate the other 3? The league met with them. Did none of them provide evidence? Are they all just opportunists? If it's all BS and the league based everything on just this girl I agree with you. I personally think the league probably had more to go off of to feel comfortable doing out such a huge punishment.

Having said that I'm ready to move on. I don't think this saga is over yet, but I also don't want to spend anymore energy on it here. It's back to the Padres for me.

Last I heard he was making a living in Japan so your premise is false

teams are very aware of the fan base and they made their decisions accordingly and besides…how many of the players wifes would be okay with that…players have a hard enough time playing the game without bringing wife attitude into the equation

I am no Trevor Bauer fan, but if it was all false allegations and premeditated then the players and their wives should side with their teammate.

Of course no one had all the details until recently...so the dodger Org had to take the safe route and believe the "victim".

But IMO they should come out with a statement now in support of the guy who they unceremoniously dumped and did not believe when I'm sure he told them he did not do what he was accused of.

Not a chance...if the Dodgers and MLB apologized they would be opening themselves up to a wrongful termination lawsuit and had MLB NOT found anything wrong they would not have suspended him in the first place....Clevinger was investigated and cleared....Bauer was investigated and suspended.

Playing in MLB is a privilege...not a right and the whole zero bail / reparations movement some of you seem to favor doesn't apply to MLB.
