I took the time to check on Martin's stats, apparently he has had passed ball issues for a while now, he lead the league recently in that department two years in a row, last year he had 3 in only 48 games, this year he has 4 in 19 games, I think, could It be that his lack of ability with the glove affect his "grabbing" foul tips performance also? Just wondering.

I remember growing up, I use to HATE facing soft tossing lefties! They usually came from a totally different arm slot, and usually from nearer 1B! Think a left handed version of Kent Tekulve! Guys that came over the top( like most righties), no issue at all.

I wonder if LH batters have issues with the Tekulve types- low slot, soft tossing, coming from 3B?
