4. Sheets 1B

5. Tatis RF

6. Bogaerts SS

7. Castellanos LF

Buehler P

Glad to see both FTJ further down the lineup and Cronenworth totally out of it.

I'd maybe give Jake until the break to turn it around, and if he doesn't, he loses his job then becomes our super sub. He can obviously play 4 infield spots( not a lot of time at 3B but dude can field!) I for one do not want to see Wagner( good to see Valenzuela doing well in Toronto)or McCoy again in San Diego.

Geeze, two batters up, two runs.

Not good Walker.....

This is more like it. Padres and with a Dodgers loss moves them back to 1/2 game behind the Dodgers.

Buehler did not look good the first two innings, but settled down afterwards.

Andujar was a great pickup and Song lood good going 2 for 4 and 2 RBI in his first major league appearance. I hope he continues to play well

Rubber match tomorrow.

GO PADRES!

Padres 1/2 game behind LA but tied in the loss column for 1st in the Division.

oddly in the AL only 3 teams have winning records. 3 teams with losing records are in playoff spots.

As much as we see the Padres struggle, they still are one of the better teams in MLB.

That was probably the best offensive effort of the season. Lots of clutch hits and productive outs. Everyone contributed. It was also nice to see them add on a couple late to allow them to go with Marinaccio in the 9th. We need a lot more performances like that from the offense.

Looks like Bradgley Rodriguez is going to be the opener with Waldron serving as the bulk guy.

Game 3 Lineup

1. Merrill CF

2. Machado 3B

3. Andujar DHB

4. Sheets 1B

5. Tatis 2B

6. Laureano LF

Bradgley Rodriguez P

The Giants took 2 of 3 at Petco and the Padres took 2 of 3 on their turf to even the series.

Waldron pitches his best performance of the season and the BP was solid.

Sheets and Bogaerts hit a HR. France also comes up with a big hot going 2 for 4 and 2 RBI. He was a good acquisition.

GO PADRES!

Nice pitching effort today!

Waldron looks much better when he only has to face the top of the order once👍🏽
