Hassell’s video game-like OPS in the early going sits at 1.396, and he currently has more stolen bases (3) than strikeouts (2)

Quote from Randy Manese on April 13, 2022, 10:51 amHassell seems a real student of the game and a guy that will get better and better as he becomes more comfortable with the pitching he will see at higher levels in the minors. I hope we don't end up trading him because he might arrive sooner in San Diego than many people are predicting. When he starts developing pull-side power, you may see someone who can average 20-25 HRs a year besides a good BA/OBP.

Quote from Randy Manese on April 13, 2022, 4:21 pmHadn't seen this interview before and I love what I read. "Patiently aggressive" and "necessary arrogance" are words to live by for a major league batter. The kid will be an everyday player in the majors!

Here's to him being Grisham's replacement.

I dont see Hassell replacing Grisham, more replacing Myers as he departs as a FA.

Quote from LynchMob on April 15, 2022, 12:26 pmToday's DFR has a typo that caught my eye ... it says RH3's slash stats are ".478/.399/.483" ... which would be "interesting" 🙂
milb.com says current slash stats = .478/.520/.739 in 23 ABs
