Padres vs Reds May 1-3

Page 1 of 3Next

Game 1 Monday May 1st 6:40pm PDT

SD Blake Snell vs CIN Luke Weaver

Game 2 Tuesday May 2nd 6:40pm PDT

SD Michael Wacha vs CIN Graham Ashcraft

Game 3 Wednesday May 3rd 1:10pm PDT

SD Seth Lugo vs CIN Luis Cessa

With the horrible record SD has against the NL Central (worse division in the NL, maybe in ML) and the weekend series against the Duds, I can not express the importance of this series.

2 of 3 is expected, and really need to sweep this series from CIN.

This is the type of team that Championship caliber teams get fat on!!

Dont lose focus this series boyz!!

2-0 in homestead so far.. lets Win tonight.. Its May.  Do better than April (15-12) Padres.. LFGXD!

Big W... Left some runs on the table with some bad base running... But 8 runs at Petco a great night

Tatis .304 BA this early is super exciting.. 3 more hits tonight..

Domingo Tapia was terrific today.. 6 up 6 down for the Save

That was a fun one to be at. It was nice to see the offense keep rolling against a pitcher they should beat up on. They haven't taken advantage of matchups with mediocre starters often enough over the past few seasons.

This has been an issue for awhile. Good to see them take care of business last night.

Decent night for Snell. After that 1st inning, I thought we were going to have a lights out night from Snell, but his soft head got in the way again. IF he could learn to focus for a full game, 7 IP and 1 to 2 runs would be a piece of cake for him.

8 pitch first inning I thought there was an imposter out there!

I'll take any Quality Start for Snell.

If he can go 6 it would be very helpful to the Pen as he's usually the one wearing our relievers out.

Snell was a little unlucky. He didn't give up much hard contact. A couple soft ground balls found holes. I thought he was mostly very good.

Sure, some of that too. However, after that first inning, and as Mr P said 8 pitches, he was poised to breeze through that game. Its simply a lack of focus.

If you could put either Maddox or Hershiser's brain to go along with that arm and stuff..........NASTY!!!
