Observed the same. Clearly not from the rains.
Is the field sitting on swamp land? Different grass now that the Raiders are gone?
I believe that OAKs CFer is really good; however, I dont think their corner OFers are that good. So maybe the grass is a little longer so the ball doesnt roll as fast into the gaps, and thats why the cleats arent grabbing like they should???

Well the upheld the call .... he is out. Might have been not enough evidence to change the call on the field ... it was really hard to tell.

Would have been nice to see Cronenworth make his way to 3rd during Castro's AB.
Worked the first time and A's still in the shift.

Good outing by Richards ... 7 innings ... 9K / 0 BB / 7 hits. Only 83 pitches. Probably did not deserve to get tagged with 3 earned run.
Moved ahead of Paddack to #4 SP?

The dropped pop-up by Moreland ... along with the botch of the earlier ground ball ... probably ensures him a DH only role in any critical game.

Pomeranz had a tough workload in the 8th (24 "stressful pitches") .... who comes in to close in the 9th?
Oh yea ... Rosenthal is an option.

I haven’t heard my one question the contract we gave Pomeranz recently?
Considering he is yet to give up a run pitching all in high leverage situations.

I think so. He had one terrible start but he has leveled out.
