Padres vs Mets July 22-24

PreviousPage 2 of 4Next

Snell nibbling already.....40 pitches for 6 outs....just not terribly efficient for a guy with his stuff.

O's going to have to come alive tonight.

Snell is not helping his trade value even to a desperate contender.

Start warming up Gore and Crismatt … they will be in early.

Frustrated with Snell’s command but still no runs in 4.

With Snell’s issues … he throws a perfect strike on a 3-2 pitch to the lead off batter in the 5th … called a ball. It wasn’t a edge clipper but full in the zone.

Then on the next hitter he strikes him out on a ball inches off the plate.

Where are those robo ups?

Just shaking my head … Snell has gone 5 innings with no runs against even though his pitches are all over the place. Mets are the second best team in the NL and have legit hitters … go figure.

We’ll take it

Snell 5 IP 0.00 ERA ... he was nails today..going head to head with a guy that had a perfect game vs us... one wilted  one threw 0 s ...Snelliza trade value at its Peak in the City that never sleeps and I am sure with 29 teams scouting...

Season series Win ...Huge!

Sweep em tomorrow

Mets got SnellChado’d!

Morejon looked great today. He has looked dominant both times I have seen him this year. Haven't even seen him use his knuckle-change yet. What does everyone think: future closer or still possible future starter? He is only 23.

Think the Padres still see him as a SP in the future … and that may be next season given the FA coming.

He has looked the part of a closer and that could be a fallback if starting does not workout.
