Why are we so careless on the bases?
Whatever happened to "going halfway" ?
Either it's caught and Soto can tag and go to 3rd and Manny back to first or it's a HR and they're gonna score anyway or it's off the wall and they can both advance.
What advantage is there to just running with 1 out even though it may be caught and running us right out of the inning?

Watching the replay it looked like they both were halfway and then they both advanced as if they thought the ball had hit the wall first. Yastrzemski's left arm hit the wall before he made the catch. I wonder if they could see the wall ripple and thought that it was the ball causing it. Definitely a weird play though.

A case of two views of the same event. 7th inning HBP of Pederson.
Grant and Orsillo saw it as the umpire NOT calling HBP but Pederson saying he was and the ump changing his mind.
I saw the ump calling HBP initially (hand signal immediate but not dramatic) and Pederson NOT thinking he was hit and then told by the ump to go to 1B.
Replay inconclusive if really was hit so play stands as HBP.
They locked on their view of the play even after replay … and so did I.

3rd game of the series a replay of the first two.
Get out to a lead and hold on.
Currently up by by in bottom of the 8th.
Come on boys….hold this lead and add on a couple in the other!

As stressful as that 9th inning just was (with Hader Closing)I don’t know how I’m going to be able to handle the Playoffs (with Hader Closing).
