Both teams are suffering from injuries with Machado and Bettis, so thats kind of an offset there. I think the only day where we are looking at an uphill pitching match up is Friday against Gonsolin. In the past, Sundays match up versus Kershaw would be rough for SD; however, he is just recently coming off the DL, so maybe not as tough against as normal.

Should be able to split, with a decent/realistic chance of SD taking 3 of 4 in LA. Depends on the performance of Gore Sunday.

With Gos pitching.. we should have played small ball.. and Crone should have been trying to hit 1st pitch.. lazy fly ball to LF 1 out runner still in 2nd... also would have penciled in Mazara 3rd Voit 4th in lineup.. all crone needed to do was fly out to right field or wait for a pitch he could put on the ground to the right side... 1 run .. HR 1 run.. thats 2.. the other thing to do vs Gos is make him throw 15-20 pitches an inning .. not give him 8 pitch innings.. get him out by the 6th to have a shot... he had allowed 3 runs in 33.1 IP in LA...so getting 1 in 7 of him was better than. Most had managed... cant have the same approach against a guy like Gos..... need to move runners to 3rd with 0 outs.. bunt for a hit..play some small ball.. but it's over... Lets Go get it today!
