Tough gritty win last night....Musgrove was great and Hader was throwing gas and with some help from his outfield...Soto and Azocar he got it done but gotta keep it going and get this final game today
1 1/2 games ahead of Milwaukee and a 1/2 game behind the Phillies.....in a perfect world the Padres win today and both the Phillies and Brewers lose....one can hope 🙂

I was at an event last night and missed the game. I think it might have been the first one all season I didn't catch at least a portion of. It sounds like they did a good job to get a few runs off Gallen and get him out of the game early. It's good to see Musgrove bounce back and Campusano have a big game. Hopefully they can get on a nice streak and go out and seize a playoff spot.

Still think Campusano's bat can help. BoMel needs to find a way to get him in the lineup everyday.

Good finish to the series. Soto finally looks like the player the Padres traded for. Azocar is making a case for full-time CF. Darvish is on his game.
Padres win … Brewers / Phillies lose.

Like I said earlier....in a perfect world the Brewers and Phillies both lose and the Padres win and so at least for today it's a perfect world
The Padres are now in the #5 slot....1/2 game ahead of the Phillies and 2 1/2 ahead of the Brewers and not for nothing.....the Padres now have 81 wins for the season so at minimum they will have a .500 record and I only bring that up because a .500 or better record has been quite the elusive mark for the last 10-15 years.
Great game for Darvish and the offense did enough.....Machado and Soto with the long ball and Drury and Crony with the Sac Flies
Next up....St Louis comes to town and the Phillies get Toronto and the Brewers get the Mets

Phillies are in trouble man ..I think they have like 11 games vs teams already (likely in) Mets/Braves/Blue Jays .. Brewers only have Mets and Cards... We have Cards/LAD..
