Padres vs Cardinals May 30-June 1

How many called 3rd strikes so far?

How can this team….considering the offensive output it’s had over the last few weeks, afford to not swing with two strikes when it’s close…let alone when it’s a strike?

Asking for my sanity.

Now Grisham with a 2 run homer to tie it.

This team.🙄

This is a team of batters....not hitters.....batters HOPE they hit a ball, hitters DESTROY the ball

We can’t even score on a soft single with a runner on 2nd.

I didn’t think there was any way that wasn’t a run….just as I was certain we weren’t going to see an 11th inning after he was thrown out.

Have I said lately that I hate the runner on 2nd rule?

Call me blind but Azocar didn't seem like he was coming in full speed...he seemed to be coasting...

Why pitch to Pujols after the steal? You have a lefty who's hitting .111 on deck, but you let an all-time great who's hitting .385 against lefties beat you.

He is also the all time leader in bouncing into double plays... we lost this game because we couldn't advance the ghost to 3rd base with 1 out... not by pitching to a 41 yr old HOF to be ...cant whiff 26 times in 2 days man..thats almost an entire game worth of outs via the strike out...unacceptable ...

Pathetic....The first two games in St Louis have been very hard to watch,,,,Swing the DAMN bat

I'm just saying I would have taken my chances against Nootbar or any of the guys they had left on the bench over Pujols. He's proven he can still handle lefties in a part-time role and he's used to the big moment. Set up the force at the plate and play the matchup. Obviously the offense needs to be better, but the decision making could have been better as well.
