Just another quality start from our Starter and a second shutout in a row against a 1st place team.
After the 1st game of this series winning again tomorrow would make things right in the world.
Well……the MLB/Padre world anyway.

Gore should qualify for league pitching stats after his next start. Will be nice to see Padres starters 1 and 2.

When the bottom of the line-up produces, chances are good we're going to get a win. Hope Clevinger is also back healthy and dominant tomorrow - guessing that Wilson gets sent down. Let's capture the series!

All I can say is that MacKenzie Gore was well worth the wait and if he continues this pace.....I see being named to the All Star Game
He is fun to watch and he has that "Eye of the Tiger" look about him.

Will he though?
He needs 1 ip for every game we play.
If he starts every 6th game and he pitches 6 innings he will never get there.
