I guess with Musgrove returning, could we skip Casey's time through the rotation, if need be? If it's just a sprain, a week to 10 days should see him right as rain and ready to return for the final 20 games( 4 starts?) or so.
With the off day next Thursday ... Buehler pitching today could come back on Fri (Mize's day) on a full 4 day rest and then continue with the normal rotation until Tuesday ( SEP 1) when they can activate Musgrove as the rosters expand.
That should give them a lot of flexibility on how to handle Mize without putting him on the 15 day IL.

Buehler was solid. Earlier in the season FTJ was hardly doing much. Now, he is up to 17 HR
Bring on the Pirates.
GO PADRES!
