Except for a red hot July ... really a bad season (although stats still showing normal HR/RBI). Not sure on this from a report I saw somewhere, but getting a lot more off-speed / breaking balls and not handling them. Still on the FB. Soft ground balls /fly balls to the track ... frustrating.

You have to give Griffin Canning a lot of credit for the comeback win tonight. His season has been disappointing. Tonight he was a big part of the victory. That was a great job to cover a lot of ground and keep us in the game after Mize's early exit.

I guess with Musgrove returning, could we skip Casey's time through the rotation, if need be? If it's just a sprain, a week to 10 days should see him right as rain and ready to return for the final 20 games( 4 starts?) or so.
