Milwaukee Brewers at San Diego Padres: Aug10-12

This team feels a lot different when Merrill is swinging the bat well. He's on a crazy heater right now. Ty France has been unbelievable too. He had one little stretch in June where I thought he was coming back down to earth. He started raking again not long after and he hasn't stopped. 3 guys with 9 figure contracts and our MVP is a guy making 1.35m on a minor league deal.

The Padres were outstanding to tonight. They owned Harrison and the Brewers. Both the Dbacks and Phillies lost tonight.
The Padres move into a wild card tied with the Dbacks and Phillies
Buehler was good tonight. Every starting position player got a hit. The highlight is Rengifo's first career grand slam.
Let's get out the brooms. Ray on the mound tomorrow afternoon.

That was one of if not the most impressive win of the season. Just dominated the team with the best record in baseball with a very good starter going for them. Tatis's challenge ahead of Rengifo's slam showed just how impactful the system can be when used correctly. It was a great all around game. The Phillies and Diamondbacks both lost moving us back into a 3 way tie in the Wild Card race.

Just another day off for Nando?
He had one about 10 games ago.....kinda weird unless maybe he's just a little under the weather?
Seems like they would just DH him unless there is a small issue.....right?
Anyone know his numbers against Dustin May?

Who'd ever thought the Padres would sweep the Brewers. This game kept me on the edge of my seat.
The Padres are in the 2nd wild card spot all by themselves. Both the Dbacks and Phillies lost. The Padres also moved past the Dbacks in the NL West moving up to 8 games behind the Dodgers, who play tonight.
Ray struggled, but gave up only 2 runs. The BP was solid and both Merrill and Campy came through for the win.
A day tomorrow and then take care of the Guardians.
