Fernando Tatis, Jr

PreviousPage 37 of 44Next

Passed March test

Failed test in late July...supposedly started using the 'cream" in early June...

For recovery if the shoulder is heavily used (like a ballplayer) ... should be at least 4-6 months but could be longer depending on how the swing is impacted.

So, if the surgery is ASAP, he should be up and running in ST (FEB) ... probably get a "light" ST build back ... then extended ST to finish out his suspension (think the last 10 days he can do a minor league game rehab)

"The Cream" was a mixture of testosterone and epitestosterone. Tatis came up positive for Clostebol. 2 separate steroids.

Apparently will remain is SD for his "rehab".

I am sure that both Tatis's shoulder surgery and his staying in the US for his rehab were both "strongly suggested" by management at their recent meeting.

The response today certainly seems much better than in the immediate aftermath. I'm ready to move on. Hopefully he comes back healthy and ready to make everyone forget about all of this next year.

Huh? Where did this explanation come from?

The reports that I have seen say that Tatis was positive for Clostebol. I have never heard about him being positive for anything else.

A real life soap opera

Being sick is hardly drama especially in these times. If you have the sniffles you are not getting put under.
