Well, I was wrong about  waiting until he had another hot streak at EP.  Hopefully, he showed enough in batting practice that he will actually contribute to the line-up.  Things in his favor today is that he's in a big ballpark and some of the balls he hits could fall in; he's facing a lefty who hasn't been all that effective lately; and hard to believe he can't be any better than Grisham, especially on the base paths. He will be defensively challenged but should be adequate in CF.

Two thoughts about Ruiz' CS ...

- Rickey Henderson would have been safe ... no reply back then 🙂

- He'll be safe on that same play next year with the larger bases 🙂
