Important seasons for Ona (AA) and Ornelas (A+/AA) ... could go either way.
Only have 5 prospects on my list that I think a 40 man roster slot is their’s to lose given their ceilings and proximity to the ML: Trammell, Arias, J.Rosario, Patino, and Lawson. They could all impact the 2021 ML team and and sit in AAA to be the call-up if needed.
The rest need to have good minor league seasons in 2021 to earn their way into the discussion. Probably none are going to impact the ML in 2021. I have: E.Rosario, Potts, Marcano, A.Ruiz, Ornelas, Barley ... and one pitcher Contreras.
Note that Gore does not HAVE to be protected but he will be added in 2020 because he is that good and should be a ML arm in 2020.
