Brewers Vs. Padres Gametred
Quote from Ben Davey on April 1, 2018, 7:38 amTrading for Yellich would have been nice, I am more upset that we didnt sign Cain. I thought Cain > Hosmer, plus having an OF with 2+ CF (Cain/Margot) would have been great. I got the argument that Cain was older and might be passed his prime by the 2020 date, but its hard not to like what the Brewers have.

Quote from Fred on April 2, 2018, 9:10 pmThey're both (Yelich and Cain) pretty good players. They both seem revitalized with their exodus from rebuilding/losing teams.
That NL Central is one tough division so even though Milwaukee looks very talented (and complete in my opinion) they could be in a fight for a playoff spot. Look how deep St. Louis is. Then the Cubs too. Cincinnati might make some noise if some of their young pitching finally matures (Stephenson, Garrett, Castillo, and Reed, ...etc). Mahle pitched six near-perfect innings today. He looks ready. Can't wait to see Senzel. He might wind up at SS.
