Any chance of anyone currently playing reaching that figure in the next 20 years?
Pujols is up there with Aaron, Ruth, Mays, Musial, Gehrig, Williams....easily top 10 greatest hitter ever.
Anyone have issues with putting him top 5?

D-backs have 3 prospects on the way that look pretty good ... FYI.

How often is it that a team starts the season w #1 prospect in baseball, calls him up & later in the season has a different player who is ranked the #1 prospect in baseball & calls him up, & then still has the #1 prospect in baseball in the minors? #Adley #Gunnar #Grayson

Why is Hosmer not playing in Boston? Dalbec and Cordero getting all the AB's( Eric only 45 AB's)

IL since Aug 21 .. back inflammation. In 40 AB with Boston he was hitting 225/311/300.
Maybe BOSTON should claim damaged goods and demand Groome back.

Braves getting better ...
09.03... Mike Soroka recorded five strikeouts over four scoreless innings on Friday in a minor league rehab start for Triple-A Gwinnett.
Spin: Soroka permitted just one baserunner over four shutout frames before Friday's contest was suspended due to inclement weather. The 25-year-old right-hander threw 61 pitches (39 strikes) and looks ready to finally rejoin the Braves' starting rotation after a lengthy rehabilitation process. He hasn't pitched in the majors since the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign due to a pair of major Achilles injuries. He's ready, folks.
