I’d really like to see Ruiz get a shot this season.
The OF options at AAA are all hitting like .350….due to the league though.
I say this every year….I HATE that our AAA Park/League distorts both offensive and pitching numbers to the point only the Scouts can really tell how anyone is doing.
If we didn’t know better (we do) you would think Nomar Mazara has finally reached his potential and is poised to be a major league All Star.
Bottom line…..I trust Ruiz’s AA numbers way more than I do Mazaras’ or Rookers’ or anyone else’s in EP.

Jesus Sanchez with the 2nd longest home run in Coors Field history today…..496 ft.
He reminds me of Franchy Cordero so much.
Can hit it a mile….still needs to learn to hit.

Aaron Judge just hit his 21st home run on the year.
It’s June 4th.
On pace for 60+

Melancon blew another Save and is now 1-6 with an era near 7.
I feel horrible for him….such a great human.
But sure glad we made the right decision to let him go even after he was so great for us.

Another Barn burner at Coors Field.
It took the Braves and the Rockies 10 innings to score yesterday…and that’s only because they were spotted a runner on 2nd base.
Tonight they are in the 5th and still no runs.
Where’s Aaron Judge when you need him?

Pete Alonso just hit an opposite field HR off of Graterol and he didn’t even follow thru on his swing.
It was more of a check swing than it was a swing.
He and Judge don’t seem to have issues with the “new ball”.

I was watching the Mets- Dodgers game on ESPN like it was the 7th game of the World Series hoping the Duds would lose.
Which they did.
Just crazy how much I want them to lose…..
