Horrible ABs by Iglesias and Diaz. The guy is struggling to throw strikes and they both bail him out swinging at balls.

Iglesias and Diaz really s**t the bed there. Both are successful bases loaded hitters. Both swung at rotten pitches.

Again the Padres had a golden opportunity with a bases load situation and again they could not get the runners in. What is wrong with this offense?

Padres win on a Arraez HR and 2 HR robberies. They gain another game on the Dodgers moving up to 6 games back but still remin in 3rd place
Pivetta was outstanding and the BP held. Suarez eaned his MLB leading 26th save.
Let's take game 2. Cease on the mound. Let's hope he steps it up

Have to give Merrill credit for not letting his offensive struggles effect his defense. Two great plays by him and Tatis to help steal a win. Arraez looks like he's getting ready to chase down another batting title.
