Quote from JasonE135 on September 15, 2019, 9:02 pmHe has always had the talent. The only question is can he make it work at the major league level. This year was a test for him. It looks like he passed. If he can keep this up at AA next year he will be ready for his last test by the end of the year-mlb.

Quote from fenn68 on September 16, 2019, 5:49 amGiven Trammel’s strong finish ... Padres need for a LHH OF ... Padres willingness to push players up levels rapidly (see Naylor and Tatis minor league movement) .... we may see Trammel in AAA to start next season.
Not really fair to directly compare Trammel to Tatis but both are top prospects and the Padres moved a younger Tatis to the ML at a younger age after only a half season in AA that ended in injury ... and a concern that he struck out too much (he did and does).
Probably the mass of OF options now (and maybe a winter add) probably blunts that jump to the ML out of ST but the aggressive jump to EP is possible.
As I said about Tatis last winter .... not ready for the ML without some AAA time in 2019 Trammel needs more minor league time. Wrong then ... wrong now?

Quote from MrPadre19 on September 16, 2019, 6:16 amConsidering his strong final month and that EP is a hitters haven(build on this season and confidence) I agree that Trammell starts 2020 in AAA.
But they don't promote him for at least a few months if at all.
It will depend on the major league teams' needs and level of contention.
