Fangraphs indicating that besides Dahl, Odor and Tapia have made the 26 man roster. No clear statement of how the 2 other 40 man roster spots opened up, although indicting that Morejon may be placed on 60 day IL. Still leaves one if that is the case - my guess is that it is Batten who gets DFA'd, passes through waivers and then is outrighted to El Paso.

Well, it was Michel Baez instead of Batten that was DFA'd. He'll likely not be claimed either because of his injury history and hopefully put in a good year at El Paso after being outrighted.

Baring more injuries (or the current injuries not healing) .... we should be going through this process pretty consistently over the next month (players to option v DFA) as Musgrove, Engel, Suarez, Tatis return and "maybe" Pomeranz ... although expect his to go on a long (30 day) rehab. Castillo likely will be optioned if healthy.

I would give a 50/50 chance of Baez being claimed by a team with a poor low end of their 40 man. Baez was a good prospect beset with injuries .. so can still see upside in an arm that can be optioned to the minors. If not, no big thing to just DFA him and then if he clears that team keeps him. Fair gamble for some team like OAK, WASH, and the like.

Well we aren't the only ones having rotation shuffling issues.
On the positive side it looks like we will miss both Max Fried and Kyle Wright in the Braves series.

We all know with Joe and Yu missing a start or two, and 4 inning Snell, we'll need starters early on.
Really surprised he's not in SD( and Groome as well!)
