5th pick is Chris Lincoln a RHP out of UCSB ... looking like a RP and a potential significant under slot player.

Lincoln he struggle at a starter in his sophomore year. They moved him to the closer this year. He is a athletic with a real quick arm that got better thought the season. Fastball sits at 93-94 mph tops out at 98. He is a max effort delivery that will need more refining to help out with more deception for his fastball. He slider is ok to above average because he is so inconsistent with it. Lincoln has a lot of production on is body and should be able to throw harder. He still raw and still has room for growth.

Chris Lincoln wowed me when I was out west. Physical, athletic with plus arm speed. Some see starter upside but could be two 6s in the back end of the pen. #Padres
