Good win......need this one today.
If there's such a thing as an important win in June maybe its today.
Completely different vibe going on the road this evening after a 2 of 3 series win vs. a 1 of 3 series loss to a much worse team.

Padres win 2 in a row to take the series. A much needed win.
Pivetta was outstanding going 7 shutout innings and 10k.
On to to Cincy to face the tough Reds.

The Giants lost. The Padres move up into a second place tie.

Giants swept by Marlins. Padres are in sole 2nd place but 6 games out with the Dodgers winning.

More important they are again in a Wild Card slot ahead of SF and tied with MILW in the loss column. Only two losses more than NYM/PHIL one of which wins the East and the other is in the first Wild Card position now.
With 82 games to play ... two game difference to the top Wild Card slot is not that much.
