LHH INF bench strength with some hitting skills ... not much on defense or power ... upgrade over Wade (and longer control and can be optioned).
Did not give up much in Valenzuela who is again not hitting in AA.

The Padres continued their extremely busy Deadline day by trading for O's All-Star Ryan O'Hearn and outfielder Ramón Laureano, a source told MLB.com's Mark Feinsand on Thursday. The clubs have not confirmed the deal.
San Diego also announced it had acquired infielder Will Wagner, the son of newly inducted Hall of Famer Billy Wagner, from the Blue Jays for catcher Brandon Valenzuela (Padres' No. 26 prospect).

He was primarily a 2nd baseman last year.
It will be interesting to see what they do with him. It looks like the Padres have too many players on the roster at the moment.

Saw via the Athletic that Toronto is in on him, and it was unlikely he would be headed to the Dodgers.
