Quote from David Jay on February 11, 2019, 9:23 pmI'd suggest that his really strong performance in the Cal League took him from being "irrelevant as a prospect" to a guy who's worth keeping an eye on, but not a top 30 player...
(And if John was smart enough to agree with me all the time, this would get boring quickly! 😁)

Quote from Mike Turner on February 23, 2019, 2:36 pmMLB.com (MLB Pipeline) has sort of updated their top 10 list for the Padres. The actual Padres page for top prospects hasn't been updated yet so we can't see any 11-30 updates, but they have updated their top 100 list. Nothing completely notable... expected drops on Morejon and Baez and a nice jump for Patino. They also updated most of their descriptions in the bio with updated projections.
Tatis - 2
Gore - 15 (I think a drop of about 3)
Urias - 23
Mejia - 26
Paddack - 34
Patino - 48!
Morejon - 49
Baez - 72
Allen - 79
Weathers - 93

Quote from David Jay on March 4, 2019, 1:52 pmWhile you've had the chance to read each of our individual top 30 lists, we recently emerged from the cage match with our overall MadFriars Top 20 list. and it's now live on the site. Feel free to toss out any questions you have here. If you spot something that's dumb or confusing, chances are it's Conniff's fault!
