Will be in Peoria Mar 20-24 and have tickets to the final ST game on Sat the 22nd

So apparently we have our own Shohei Ohtani!
Sean Barnett will pitch and also hit as a DH this season.
11th round pick out of a small College....kid hit 26 HR's in 59 games and had an 1.1138 OPS as a Senior.
He only threw 5 innings last year and only 17 for his College career so they must see something they really like off the mound if he's going to continue to pitch and DH.

My eldest Son came with me last time and my youngest is coming this time……along with my brother….and his son will be joining us for a couple days from California
My middle son is at school at UGA and I’m hoping next year he and I can make the trip during his Spring break so he can see his Grandma…and the Padres😉,before he starts his job after graduation.
So may be there next year also at the beginning of March

Hot Damn
So it begins…I had to go to Dana Pt today and as I’m driving home, I put 97.3 fm on and lo and behold the Padres are on the air playing the A’s. There is nothing better than listening to a game on the radio and even better if it’s the Padres. People must think I’m high as I’m smiling and living every pitch driving down the 5 south. Padres put up a crooked number in the 2nd inning and it felt like last season. I never realized how much I missed ball games.

Four games into the preseason and neither Campy or Tatis has played yet. I wonder why?

Excited for their Pitcher to get his first strikeout against a "major league hitter".....it was 18 year old Leo DeVries....who's "three" years younger than the Pitcher.
