Both our pitchers are capable of going 7 innings tomorrow, so hopefully, they'll be on their game and our hitters will give them the support they need to get them each a win. It would be a good way to end the homestand before heading out to Colorado. Go Padres!

For the record my comment about not playing wasn’t “disappointment” over not being able to see baseball.
The facts of the situation aren’t even in and I just don’t understand what boycotting anything will accomplish.
Hey,maybe I’m wrong and what the NBA and MLB are doing will suddenly stop the police from shooting those who resist no matter their skin color.

I abhor violence of any kind...but it’s something that happens every day and I admire those who lay their life on the line to uphold our laws.
Im surprised so many no longer do.Of course sometimes Cops are in the wrong.Its horrible when they are and someone is hurt or dies and when a Police Officer is the victim as well.
Sorry if I just don’t believe boycotting something will be the difference maker.
Also not sure why feeling that way makes someone a racist?
People of all races are affected by Police shootings.....

I just saw where Richards is listed as Starter for game 1?
I assume that’s a misprint and he will start game 2 with Lamet still going in game 1?

Not necessarily ... some think it is an advantage to have the better SP go in game 2 .. not sure the logic but have heard that view.

Game 2 says TBA.
I’m thinking game one was already listed as Richards because he was the starter in today’s game originally and they just haven’t updated it yet.
But,maybe they have pushed Lamet back even further.

Most likely Richards was in the computer for today ... so that just remained and until the official starters are named the make-up game is TBD.

Starters are Lamet in the first game at 12:10 with Richards starting the second game after the first
