The Padres are coming off a disappointing series losing 2 of 3 and now are playing one of the best teams in MLB. The Rays will be tough and play very well at their home.

The Padres offense needs to wake up. Since acquiring Ray and Mize, the pitching has been much better.

Side note: Except for the Padres, the Dodgers play below .500 teams the rest of the way.

PLAYOFF RACE

GO PADRES!ñ

Dodgers and Yamamoto and swept by Braves. Padres move up to 8 games back.

This is going to be a tough series for SD, will really prove their playoff chances against one of the best teams in MLB, and at their house.

This series rests on the shoulders of Mr. P. since he will be in the stands this weekend! 🙂

Manny back to doggin' it......

When he's hitting bombs and driving guys in, loaf away. But when doing neither and leading the world in hitting into DP's.....BUST YOUR ASS!

Padres do not look like a playoff team, especially against a bona fide playoff team.

What's their record against good pitchers? Something like .330 %.

They really look sloppy.

We could use more speed as well. LF, SS, and 2B are possible spots to add that.

Harris looks a great deal smoother at the dish than Bowen.

That said, he looks a great deal better than FTJ tonight!  Nando has ZERO clue of what's going on so far tonight. Looks totally lost.

Okay.... Manny up, bases loaded, 1 out....

A) hit, runs score?

B) ground into DP?

C) K?

Or D) Slam Diego🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
