Stupid Mets.

Stupid Mets.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

That was EXACTLY my first thought.

That was a legitimate effort by Bergert! Granted, Giants offense sucks but still....

Ryan has definitely earned himself another time through the rotation.

Anyone have any perspective on his outing they could share?

Frustrating offense....but it's a results based business!

Pitching lines up well for us at least...with Pivetta/Cease going the next two gotta like our chances to win the series.

Then Pivetta/Cease will be going games 2-3 in the dodgers series.....but who pitches game 1?

Hoping Yu or King are back for game 1 against the Duds and that we can hang with Mil with the back end of the rotation going

Pivetta and Cease will pitch game 1 and 2. Vasquez will pitch game 3 unless Yu or King are back.

So in Mil it will be Vasquez/Hart/Kolek.

Not ideal

Bergert pitched well enough against SF that he deserves to keep his rotation spot for at least one more start.  However, Brewers pretty much have a balanced L/R line-up but currently LH hitters are doing slightly better than the RH hitters, so I can see the logic in bringing up Hart, if eligible, or Cruz.

Right handed batters have hit .338/.388/.688 off Hart. Lefties have only managed a .115/.115/.231 line. I think his future is in the bullpen.

Game 3 Lineup
1. Tatis RF
2. Arraez DH
3. Machado 3B
4. Merrill CF
5. Sheets 1B
6. Bogaerts SS
7. Cronenworth 2B
8. Lockridge LF
9. Díaz C

I hope Merrill adjusts quickly vs that slider at the bottom of the zone, it took a year and a couple of months, but the league has figured him out.
