The Padres win and take the series and season series from the Braves.
Cease holds the Braves to 3 runs on 6 hits. The BP does its job and Suarez earn his MLB leading 17th save.
Kudos to Machado, Cronenworth and Sheets hitting homers. Sheets has gone 6 for 16 (.375 avg), 5 HR and 8 RBI in the last 4 games.
It's time to head home to bring on the Marlins and then the Pirates.

Not sure if we’re “fixed”,but series’ against the Fish & Bucs,at Petco, is a good way to find out

Dodgers lost their second game in a row. Next they play two tough teams--the Guardians in Cleveland and then host the Yankees.

I would like to say that if the Pads two good series and the bums struggle, they could be in first place in about a week, but, it appears those Giants as of now are not going away 🙁

The Padres might move ahead of the Giants in the next 3 days because the Giants are playing the tough Detroit Tigers next.
