Going to need a better C than Nola 💯

Could Snelling + Campy + Mears = Murphy?

Or Tyler Stephenson?

A's don't need a C back ..so could a 3 way with Marlins (Laureano CF (A's) + Campy to Miami).. Snelling + Mears+ 2 or 3 top Miami specs to A's  type deal??

I'm guessing that you did not realize that Jorge Alfaro has the 3rd fastest average pop time this year tied with, you guessed it, Sean Murphy.

We do not need Murphy and I seriously doubt we trade high upside pitching, which we desperately need, for him.

I did.. why Alfaro in my plan still the backup in SD in 23 only Campy and Nola moved..

GALLEN is going to HATE the Clock.. He is the slowest P in baseball

Snell is going to thrive ..because he won't have time to "think" too much and his electric stuff will just do its thing

.. Youngsters coming up yhe system all work at this pace already ..so the most likely to suffer are veterans who been in MLB 3+ yrs or more already.. extremely slow guys too...

Yu Maybe even more dominant speeding up as long as his C can be on the same sequencing a)slow/fast/medium and b) type of P

I don't think, and I doubt Padre's management thinks that we need 2 of the top 4 catcher arms in MLB to survive the new rule. I think you may have a man-crush on Murphy, which may be understandable but almost certainly will not happen.

The Padres do not have a problem at Catcher. They have MAJOR problems in the rotation.
