Rockies at Padres Gametred

PreviousPage 2 of 2

What a great game by Lucchesi, at Coors Field no less. I know it's only 3 starts but so far he looks like the real deal. And to think he isn't the highest ceiling pitcher in the pipeline. I can only dream about the future rotation if half of the things turn out good.

Yeah I'm thinking we're gonna be in pretty good shape if Luchessi ends up our #4 or 5 Starter.

No punches landed, but that was a solid brawl today.

After the Rockies hit 5 Padres batters in a week (Margot on the DL as a result) I think retaliation was warranted by the Pads.

Ridiculous that Arenado charged the mound.

The Rockies had it coming AND he wasn’t even plunked.

I think McGwire was explaining this to Arenado after they corralled him.

This is not over....the bad blood coming out of this will be there the rest of the year.

I hope nobody else gets hurt

What's the saw about "familiarity breeds contempt"? Playing again in about ten days. Should be interesting.

Here come the ' Unwritten Rules" again. Hit our guys, we hit yours, then you hit ours again( breaking ribs!) and ........we of course, throw at your head! Missing thank goodness( I haven't seen replays so don't know if it was even close to Arenado's head?)

When does this non sense end? I don't want anyone missing games because of a lame brawl!

New rules should be enacted immediately stating that anyone leaving the dugout/pen during an altercation will be suspended immediately for 5 games. No questions asked. Might stop this stupidity. You wanna see a brawl- go to a hockey game. Or better yet, go to an MMA event- see how men fight for real.

To be fair it wasn’t anywhere near Arenados’ Head.

Perdomo did exactly right.

He threw waist to numbers high and behind him.....didn’t hit him and didn’t aim for the head.

It was the Padres defending their own...plain and simple and done the “right way”.

If you believe there is a right way.

The Rockies hurt our Centerfielder AND hit the guy who won the game the night before......they “had” to expect this.Which is why Arenado charging the mound and starting a brawl was a punk move IMO.

Yeah, I just saw the video. Arenado needs to understand the "unwritten rules".

He should be pissed off at his own pitchers for putting he and his batsmen in that predicament.

Still, stupid " fight" if that's what you want to call it. Perdomo and Galvis threw their gloves, the dyed blondie for the Rox was kicking and throwing punches from behind people- what a bunch of pussies. A bunch of grown men shoving each other.............geeze, really?
