Quantrill did look great today as well. So far, he has definitely earned the #5 spot in the rotation. He has far outpitched Lucchesi. We will see if this was really a competition, because I don't see how anyone can say Joey has won. So far.
Lamet looks like he is all the way back from his Tommy John surgery. He has been making hitters look absolutely stupid all spring. I sure am glad that AJ didn't agree to trade him for Bryant. If he keeps this up we may have another ACE on our hands.

The stars a aligning for Quantrill by him pitching well and Lucchesi struggling ... needed both and he is getting that.
