I'm thinking FTJ's problem is he's trying to pull everything. Earlier in the year, when he looked great, he was taking the ball where it was pitched, to all fields. But whenever the O goes through one of its many dry spells, he presses, trying to hit a 5 run HR every time.

Rodriguez needs to get in his ear and tell him to just push it wherever it's pitched, get on base, wreak havoc that way.

I realize it's not as easy as that but Nando gets into this same funk every year. He just needs to get back to Hitting 101. The HR's will come after that.
