Oddly maybe not a “good” offensive catcher … just a catcher who hits better than Nola / Sullivan … that could be a .200 hitter.

With Campusano on the IL for a couple of months (at least) and now Severino released … who is called up if Nola or Sullivan get injured? Doubt it is Cantu or anyone in the system now.

I will make the guess that tomorrow Padres announce a veteran catcher add either to the ML roster or to EP.

Do we see Torrens don the brown?

Or does Salas become the youngest player ever in MLB?( said with tongue in cheek)
