With the way SD has played recently, this is a must win series. No excuses! IMO SD needs to sweep, 2 of 3 would seem like a mental let down.
KC is 12 and 30, and IF SD goes 1 an 2 or forbid get swept by KC, then I think someone might need to lose a job.

The Royals have the second worst record in baseball. They're giving up 5.5 runs a game. It's time for the offense to get going.

Then I don't know what to tell you. Carp and Cruz in a dozen or so ABs vs this dude tonight have really struggled

Are Odors' numbers good against Keller or just KC starters in general?

If 8 AB’s were enough to judge we’d have Daniel Camarena as our DH.

In the past 15 days:
Hits/AB
3/13 ... 748 OPS ... Odor
3/27 ... 311 OPS ... Carpenter
3/23 ... 260 OPS ... Cruz
Forget about Odor vs KC or Keller ... Carpenter and Cruz have cratered in the past 15 days ... so not much of an alternative tonight. Oh yeh, Engle is 0/4.
Not sure how long they continue with Cruz who seems to be able to hit the FB a bit but can't hit a breaking ball anymore ... his age and a one demential player with his performance would have some other player DFA if the Padres had someone in AAA that could do better ... they don't ... so?
