A hit by Sugar there gets us a run and keeps things moving.
We need 4-5 hits in an inning to score four….you can’t give up an out.

I realize we have a lot of moving parts( and the WBC surely didn't help) but Bob needs to get on top of this quickly!
Set a lineup and get these guys locked into the next 160.

Report was that the bunt was Azocar’s decision not called by the bench … and bet he was looking for a hit not a sacrifice.

I saw that. I guess that's better than Melvin calling for it. I also saw that they were trying to get his attention and stop it after the first attempt, but they were unable to. Honestly if he had just tried to catch them by surprise and drop one down for a hit it would be defendable. That they couldn't get his attention and he dropped it down on the second attempt makes it look worse. It likey would not have mattered in the grand scheme of things. It's still not something you want to see. Hopefully it's a learning experience for him.
