Padres vs Red Sox May 19-21

Now we don’t even know how to tag out a baserunner.

Why is Crone lifting his glove up and reaching for the runner?

The runner has to touch the bag…..keep the glove at the bag!

Hey Nola…..if you’re gonna strike out every time up how about at least do it swinging!?

Its sloppy baseball! Its gotta end, or someone's gotta go! Im talking about you Mevlin.

This is just incredible!

After the SOLO HR by Tatis,Kim doubles and with “no outs” and a RISP we can’t score or still even get a hit.

My guess..…if we did hit a single Kim would have been thrown out at home anyway.

🙄

As bad as the Padres have been this Umpire is even worse!

We’ve sure learned how to lose. Another loss without a hit with runners in scoring position.Only scoring from two solo home runs….. and decent pitching good enough to win.

What are we now like one for our last 1,257 with runners in scoring position

Didn't even need a hit tbh.. Xander hit a Lazer to RF ..Kim to 3B.. IF was playing back..all Soto needed to do was hit one of his grounder to 2B.. but instead SO .. that was 💯 on Soto.. Cruz with 2 outs is more understandable cause he must get a hit.. but Soto just needs to put the ball in play..

This is getting frustrating ... Everytime we get a bases loaded or tying run/s on seems like Nola /Grish or someone like Dixon is up.. and in the rare case they aren't and our top guys are they just try to do too much while our opponents in same situations just put bat to ball and score

This would be true if all we needed was one run.

We need to string 3-4 hits together in an inning.

The team should be a top 5 offense in the League….not dead last.

I mentioned this earlier, but there's something I don't get with Grisham. He's got a .953 OPS against lefties versus a .552 against right handers. For his career it's .755 versus .689. Melvin brought his numbers up against lefties as the reason he didn't pinch hit for him after one of the Royals games. Yet it seems like they keep trying to establish a traditional platoon with him. Azocar has been a little bit better against right handers in his career. Why not flip the platoon? It seems like we are using a platoon to the detriment of both players.

I heardbthat interview too.. BUT Grish is just in a terrible slump right now vs any P not just left or right ..so Azocars >to succeed is vs lefties thus the playing time.. in all honesty if Grish has another bad game today I see him being AAzoca's backup this entire trip regardless of who is P
