Dixon is in the lineup. No corresponding move has been announced yet, but I would assume Manny is headed to the IL.

Yep, per Jeff Sanders it is Manny to the IL.
Padres going RH today with Dixon at 1B … Croney to 2B … Kim to 3B and Cruz DH, Engel CF.
Noted that Azocar is starting his rehab in EP today … so Engel needs to get his act together quickly or get bumped by Azocar soon.

I'm surprised Rivas didn't get a look? Dixon has been bad so far, no?

My guess is that they preferred a RHH and did not want to make a 40 man roster move to add Rivas (LHH). They already have Carpenter to be the LHH option at 1B.

Thank God my brother has a soccer game in about an hour, its semis of a local league, but I bet is gonna be more entertaining than this, so I am out for tonight, maybe the weekend

How was the Take sign not on there at 3-1,bases loaded,Engle up,Tatis next and Paxton all over the place?

So as soon as we get a runner in scoring position we go;K,BB,Pop up to end the inning.
How is it possible to be this bad for this long with RISP?
You would think you would accidentally get a few hits?

We cant even strike someone out correctly anymore. We have scored our one run for the night, just head to bed Mr P.
