Yep I'd really like to see them rip off a good streak and at least take control of the wildcard mix. Only 3 games back, but a lot of teams in the mix are starting to play better.

Correct that Weathers was optioned but the second move was Cosgrove to the IL with a hamstring strain … has to be legit since Cosgrove was performing well.

I guess Lugo will be activated for the rotation spot vacated by Weathers and then another decision on the offset … Kerr or Carlton I would guess.

Apparently the Padres are sub-.200 with RISP ... last in MLB (next lowest is at .210). Worst performance in MLB in about 50 years.

When the Padres revert to the mean ... it will be a never ending barrage of runs every day ... hopefully.
