Very Happy for Dinelson Lamet tonight.....good Velocity and Location as 12 Ks indicate
Him and Hedges seemed to be on the same page tonight. Hosmer had a great swing on one as did Tatis ( 20 ) and Naylor.
A win to start the trip

Lamet was just filthy after the 1st 3 innings. M's might be MLB's worst hitting lineup though.
My favorite moment in game was when M's announcers (watching local broadcast in Portland,OR area) were saying how Mark Grant hesitated to label Tatis a "superstar" right out of the gate... the moment he launched that bomb into the upper deck. 🙂
Man, if Lamet can develop a "usable" even below avg 45 grade 3rd pitch he can throw 5-10% of the time... watch out!

and consistent command.
Lamet is tantalizing with his stuff ... just so close to being impactful over a season ... but sometimes being close is still far away. Needs to be given the reps and hope he develops as a mid to upper rotation option.

Mistook me.... the implication was that Grant was saying he WAS ready to put the label on him even though he's a rookie....

I know the Padres or Fox Sports love Mark Grant but this guy just flat out makes a game hard to watch and listen to....He just SUCKS

He’s the color analyst.....I think he does fine.
He and Orsillo compliment each other IMO.
To each his own I guess.
