Being an outsider, and knowing that it is just a game, sometimes I just scratch my head watching those really awful strike-ball calls keep happening in MLB, I would expect that in a beer league in Central América, even here in Mexico, but not at the States,

Then he makes it worse by ejecting Drury for letting him know how terrible a call it was and follows it up by losing track of the count and trying to ring Grisham up on strike 2. Absolutely horrible.

Umpire was terrible for both teams and should be doing single A
No "O" = No Go
At some point somebody is going to take the fall for this total lack of swinging the bats, no plan at the plate, situational hitting and lack of basic execution so who will it be ?
Can't be Tatis...hasn't played all year, Hosmer and Voit are gone, Meyers just got back....if the Padres fail to make the playoffs......I'll let you guys figure it out

He might not take the fall but I blame Tatis for the lost year . A lost year for what may have been our best SPs ever and a lost year for Manny and Himself.

Tatis not playing all year is certainly part of the problem.
Preller built this team assuming he had a top 5 player at SS every day.
As 84 says….we may be wasting this rotation along with the adds of Bell and Drury.
Who knows if/when he’s back next year if this team will be as good as it is this year….
